WELCOME

Cardiff Bach Choir is a mixed voice choir of about 65-70 members who share a love of choral singing.
Based in the City of Cardiff (Wales, UK), we perform in venues around the city, most frequently at Llandaff Cathedral, and occasionally in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) and at
BBC Hoddinott Hall (Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay).

The choir usually performs two full concerts per year, in January and May/June, and run a popular Come and Sing event in October/November. We focus on performing both the classics by the great choral composers, with J. S. Bach naturally being a regular for us, mixed with more modern favourites by the likes of Rutter, Chilcott and Goodall. We strive always to strike the right balance between old and new.

CHOIR NEWS

We are thrilled to be renewing our contract with
our brilliant Musical Director Stephen Moore,
for another five years.

Since joining us, Stephen has built upon the strong foundation of his predecessors, leading the choir to even greater heights of choral music performance, and has developed a strong working relationship with our singers.

We look forward very much to seeing where the next few years takes us.
