Sioned Ellis
Mezzo Soprano
Sioned Ellis hails from Tonyrefail in South Wales but now resides in Bryn-y-Baal, North Wales. She continues her studies with Barbara Robotham and undertakes a variety of professional work. Sioned’s concert performances include:-Mozart Solemn Vespers, Pergolesi The Magnificat, Verdi Requiem, Dvorak Stabat Mater, Queen Elizabeth and Jill-All-Alone Merrie England, Mozart Requiem Mass, Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music and Handel Messiah.
Operatic experience include the role of Olga Eugene Onegin, Aunt Zita Gianni Schicchi, Sorceress Dido and Aeneas, Mercedes Carmen and Marcellina The Marriage of Figaro.
Future engagements include:- Verdi Requiem, Handel Messiah, Mozart Requiem Mass and Solemn Vespers. Sioned will be making a guest appearance with Ludlow Male Voice Choir, she will also be returning to Northern Ireland for a recital tour, and performing throughout the UK with Music in Hospitals.
