Late Spring Concert 2007

took place at

Llandaff Cathedral

on Saturday 19th May 2007

at which the Choir performed

 

"Magnificat in D" (BWV 243) by J.S. Bach

and

"Ascension Oratorio" (BWV11) by J.S. Bach

as well as

"Magnificat" attributed to Dietrich Buxtehude (1637 - 1707)

 

The soloists accompanying the Choir were

The concert programme also included

Concerto in F Major, op 4, no. 4 for Organ (HWV292) by Handel.

The Choir wish to thank all members of the orchestra for their performances

and note particularly the chorus of Bach trumpets which set the tone

for the evening!
