Spring Concert 2006

By way of celebration of the 250th Anniversary of his birth,

The Choir performed

Mass in C major (K.317)

"Coronation"

by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

at 7.30 pm on Saturday 13th May 2006 in Llandaff Cathedral

in which the soloists were:-

Iona JONES	Soprano
Sioned ELLIS	Mezzo Soprano
Nicholas BOWDITCH	Tenor
Stefan HOLMSTROM	Bass

 

The soloists also joined the choir in a performance of

"Te Deum" by Haydn.

The concert also included

Motet: "Lobet den Herrn" by J.S. Bach (BWV230)

"Magnificat" by J.C. Bach

and a performance of

"Concerto for Oboe d'Amore and strings in A major " by J.S. Bach (BWV1055)
